I chaired a really stressful meeting and he basically said you'll end up like me and a couple of years and he's bald.

He could tell I was getting stressed by all.
And then today I was playing with my hair because I've got a bit of cream on it on a phone call and he said that's pulling out his hair. I told you you're gonna end up like me.

I've already started losing my hair because of age and it just makes me feel insecure. don't really know how to tell him stop without him getting annoyed.

He’s probably just having a joke, messing with you. How well do you involve yourselves with others? Do you joke about? Are you shy?

I’ve noticed other bald men doing that; they put other people down in order to make themselves feel better. You could tell him to stop saying things like that but do it in a lighthearted way.

It’s just something I’ve noticed. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the manager is bald because he seems to be fixated on the topic.

Tell him “hey I know you mean well but please don’t make jokes about me going bald, I don’t appreciate it, thank you”

Absolutely not. He isn’t aware that you’re insecure about it so say it in a nice way. You can tell him you’re insecure about it or just say that you don’t appreciate it. And if he’s a good person, he will respect that.

But I do want to say that (might not make a difference to how you feel) but having hair doesn’t change who you are as a person and you are still beautiful regardless of what you look like. And I hope you learn to accept it

Might as well complain at someone telling you to put sun cream on or not to pick at scabs.

Kinda yeah, it's not like he said anything offensive or had any particular fun at your expense. I don't really see anyway to make a complaint without sounding overly sensitive.

Just take the mick back 'Stop eying up my hair, yer no getting it!'

Have you not heard of finasteride?

I suggest you get on it ASAP
