It was a few months ago but basically her daughter has got a job in London and my partner has just sent her out to the train station to sort everything out. She's only 19.

19 isn't a baby.

tldr: She's old enough to sort it out herself.

The daughter is an adult and it isn’t really any of your business anyway.

I don’t see why your partner should if had to sort something for Her grown daughter. She had a job lined up, if she’s old enough to be teaching she’s old enough to realise that she needs somewhere to live...

Didn’t come out of your womb. If the daughter is not concerned why are you?

Yes it may sound harsh but at times you have to be cruel to be kind.

Yes it’s ok.
She’s an adult.
She’s not your child.
She has a job, she’s capable of finding a house.
