This is basically where you can chat to others about the subject, rant about it, ask questions etc.! There seems to be loads of people doing maths on the year 13 thread so what better than to have a group dedicated to it?!
So to break the ice a little, there's a few questions you can answer below if you want > Are you in year 12 or year 13? > What exam board are you on? > Why did you pick maths? > Current thoughts on the subject? > Out of the topics you've covered so far, what's been your favourite and what has been your least favourite - and why? > Are you taking further maths?

Heya I’m currently in year 12 I’m doing Edexcel I picked maths because I was mostly inspired by my family so it makes me feel more connected with them. Another reason is because I love maths overall ; I love the feeling after all the hard work you’ve put into a topic it finally clicks and you get it right. Maths can be difficult but once you get it it’s bloody amazing My favourite topic would probably be anything in mechanics and my least favourite would be circles ahaha
Your working is perfect and I get 0.17 from your working so it's just the final step that's going wrong for you. Do you have any more working after that or did you then just use your calculator?
How are we supposed to know how many values do we have to give for a trigonometry question?
Thank you so much in advance
It depends on the question but often you are given a set range e.g. solve this equation for 0 < x < 360 so you would need to find all solutions within this range.
If you have a query about a specific question then please post it.
