A very good laptop for the price and about all the power you'll need for that course. It's got absolute heaps of processing power, fast SSD storage and enough RAM for anything you're likely to do. In the off chance you are expected to do anything more intensive than this computer can handle, it will be done in computer labs, there will definitely not be a reasonable expectation for students to have anything this powerful for an accountancy course, never mind even more powerful. It's also slim and light, well built from a reliable manufacturer, and has a great screen.

Another chunk of your budget is best invested in a decent monitor- odds are you'll be spending a lot of time dealing with spreadsheets and other information-dense files where more screen real estate the better. A slim 14" laptop for taking to lectures paired with a 24-27" screen for connecting to at home is a solid setup for this kind of work. This LG monitor looks solid for a little over £100;
