Hi ,
Am I meant to know intuitively from these 2 equations which one's convergent series will give me the left turning point's x coordinate and which will give me the right turning point's x coordinate, just from looking at the equations ?

Or are calculations required to determine*this ,*i.e i can't*determine*this just*from observing the equations and graphs *?

Thanks as always.

I don't understand why you're talking about turning points at all - can you explain?

Sorry I meant for this graph :
If you consider carefully what the question is asking, I don't think there is any requirement to determine which / whether either corresponds to a particular turning point: you merely have to show that solutions to those equations will also be solutions to c'(x) = 0.
