    Yeah I want to basically tone up my torso.

    Whats the BEST way to tone up successfully?

    I'm going to join the university gym and do some gyming sessions- cardio treadmill and exercise bikes [plus situps/pushups]. And DEFINITELY go swimming. I've heard good things about swimming- I did it when I was younger but abandoned it along the way. :confused:

    You can't go anon in here. You gotta embrace the pure shame of asking for fitness advice. Aherm. By tone up, what you're REALLY asking is how do you lower your bodyfat. Trust me, this is what you are asking. I'm sure if you remember "lower" and "bodyfat" as key words (or fat loss) and scan the sticky for these words, some regular will have written a bit on it. Save yourself the time of waiting for responses, and get over to that sticky!

    Yep swimming is the way forward. Try and go twice or three times a week maybe and do about 60 lengths each time.
