He leaves me alone while waiting for the lift

Maybe this is a strange question, but my “bf” (M30) every time I (F30) leave his place instead of waiting with me to the lift to arrive so I can take it, he just shuts the door and leaves me waiting alone for it. I have discussed about it and he just says he’s closing the door fast to start working (he tele works) but sometimes he has Lot of time left for it. Is it normal? I feel like a dog waiting for it knowing he is inside the house knowing that I’m alone out in the lift.

uh it’s not like it’s not normal but it’s definitely rude to do that. i get the bus to and from my boyfriends flat and he always walks me back to the bus stop and waits with me till i get on the bus

Yeah he usually walks me to the car but when he doesn’t he just shuts the door, maybe he’s just an idiot sometimes

Only thing I can suggest is asking him, there is no way of us being able to tell you how he feels.
