Well i started college 2 weeks ago. Currently i am taking 4 A levels, I now want to study economics as well. im just wondering whether i will be able to start another subject this far into the term. thanks alot

2 weeks really isn't long at all.

You'll be fine, I know somebody who joined chemistry after a term, missing his January exam, and caught up fine, did all exams in June and got an excellent (high) A grade.

But in two weeks, I doubt much economics will have been covered that you can’t catch up with in a few hours at home.

It really isn't that far into term. As long as you are prepared to spend a couple of hours reading up/making notes on what you've missed, you should be fine.
