MSc Finance - CBS vs NOVA vs elsewhere
WatchPage 1 of 1
I'm an Irish student with a 1.1 Bachelors in economics and a Masters degree (not from Trinity or UCD) in Finance.
I want to work in IB/Corp Fin and didn't manage to secure a role on a grad program this year, so am I better off if I go abroad to CBS or NOVA for a second masters? Is there that much of an advantage over going to somewhere like Trinity? I'm hesitant to apply to universities in the UK, simply because they're so expensive, and I don't know if the salary bump would justify the fees.
NOVA and CBS are cheap and interesting, but it seems very difficult to get internships as a foreign student in either country, and I don't know if I would even receive preferential treatment in internship/graduate applications over Trinity/UCD grads afterwards if I was to reapply to jobs in Dublin afterwards.
Anyone have other recommendations?
