Sorry dude, but these are all out yolo situations. For reasons that no one can really fathom, these things don't work out. If she's already your good friend, I give it less than 1 in 5 that she will be willing to "take it to the next level". If she were, she wouldn't be your good buddy right now - she would have backed off your friendship and played some other dumb game with you. I would be willing to bet that her reaction to you will be apologetic and that she doesn't see you that way - and that she wouldn't want this to spoil what you have (thereby instantly spoiling what you have).

If that happens - you'll be rejected and humiliated, and your friendship will almost certainly not survive that. If she's your good buddy - leave it at that. It's not that you'll be kicking yourself for never trying - it's that the odds are probably really poor. Stay friends with her and when you find some other girlfriend, you can just pretend it's your mate - no harm done.
