i wanna do actuarial science at uni and one of my options is the MMORSE course at Warwick

my ps is maths/actuarial science based...because my first two choices are LSE and CASS for actuarial science...wud the actuarial science bit put an admission tutor off at warwick..because its not fully relevant to the mmorse course is it? or would it not matter because mmorse lets u specialise in the actuarial field?

    thanks

I was worried about the same thing applying last year! At the open day I asked about it and they said because the course isn't quite maths, actuarial science or economics they expect to have lots of different types of personal statements focusing on different things.

So don't worry it shouldn't be a problem

Sorry for digging up this thread, but i have a question:

regarding a personal statement for MORSE/MMORSE, would it be a mixture of mathematics economics and some statistics or should it be focused in one thing, maybe in mathematics' applications to these things ... its a very confusing course in regards to Personal statements

I'm not at the stage of writing a PS yet, however i am curious. thanks
