please keep this anonymous as i know several people who use this website.

there's this girl that i like, who i work with, however, we don't really get to talk that much at work, because we are in different departments. at the end of my last shift it was fairly quiet so i managed to have a fairly good conversation with her, and got her mobile number, this is the only way to contact her outside work, as she does not have access to the internet. however i have no idea what sort of thing i should say through messaging, to start a conversation etc. does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can say via text messages, should i ask her if she wants to do something sometime? any advice would be much appreciated.

Say hey, ask her how she is and/or what she's upto. Ask her if she's up for a coffee.

We all know what the word "coffee" means. It's basically saying "would you like to go grab a date". Yet it's still passable, if she doesn't want to, as something innocent.

I always assumed that coffee meant sex. Like "Wanna come in for coffee?" "Definately."

Oh yeah and i agree. Just text her, ask her how she is and if she'd like to go out sometime. Keep it friendly and informal for now though.

Coffee in someones house = sex.

    Coffee in public = date.

    Keep up, woman.
