Read a streetcar named desire carefully. Make brief notes as you do so for reference as well. Tell me a bit more about the contextual factors too. Relate your whole essay to the themes etc for more marks. You need to basically use the presentation of desire as the theme of the essay. For a lot more marks I would strongly recommend reading beyond the lines of the text in question and seeing how the characters fit in.
And you could also decide to explore the bigger picture here. I mean that you might want to explain the effects of the theme upon any readers and try to use a few different quotes as evidence to lend added weight to the literature essay and also support your overall effort in addition. Hope that this is useful for a starting point for you. Aim to write up at least two paragraphs.
