Why has she put you in for Foundation? Presumably it's because she thinks it's your best chance of the best grade. If you want to go back to Higher Tier then you need to put the work in to justify it.

what did you get before lockdown? you'll need evidence of having caught up with the content you didn't get right on the test. you need to talk to her and can't force her to change it, just prove why she should change it

Taking Higher tier does not get you a better grade, you need to do well enough to get one. Except for a small safety net to get a 3, if you miss a 4 in Higher tier you get a U. Your teacher wants to put you in Foundation because she thinks it is your best chance of a good grade. You need to work hard so that you can show that your best chance of getting the best grade is by taking Higher. It's not in your interests to change unless this is true.

I'm not sure about the process involved, but you should ask to change if you feel like you would be able to score better in higher. Explain to your teacher that foundation might be too low for you and your future ambitions.
