ATAS

Does anyone know when we applied for ATAS for the second time and the answer to the first ATAS came, what should we do to cancel the second ATAS ???
It seems that it was the case that someone first accepted the first ATAS and rejected the second one and said that the first ATAS was also mistakenly accepted!
It makes me worried.
May I ask why you submit your applications twice? Is there any difference between the first and the second?
