The Office of the Secretary General would like to offer it's condolences to the family of Nancy Wake, aka "The White Mouse."

She worked for the SOE (Special Operations Executive) during the war and she saved the lives of countless refugees and downed Allied airmen.
No words can describe her bravery and her contribution to the war.

Not so much of a condolence, more of an encouragement, to the police of the UK. The Czech Rep encourages the police of London and other cities to keep up the tremendous work they're doing, in spite of a lack of numbers, tight regulation laws and no rubber bullets.

The Czech Rep offers it's condolences to Turkey, and hope and prays there will be no more deaths from the earthquake.
Sierra Leone would like to extend its sincere condolences to Nigeria after a series of bomb and armed attacks. She would also like to express her hope that a peaceful resolution can be sought with no more innocent blood-shed.

It is with deep shock and horror that I learned this evening of the tragic fatalities in the shooting in Connecticut (USA). Young lives full of hope have been destroyed. On behalf of the European Bloc and on my own behalf, I want to express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims of this terrible tragedy.

South Africa sends it's condolences to the family of the rape victim in Delhi, and the Indian nation as a whole. This is an issue which also plagues our nation too, and we understand the difficulty in trying to address and tackle sexual crimes against women.

The Netherlands would like to echo the USA, Belarus and South Africa and it also offers deep condolences to the victims, friends, and family of victims of the recent stampede in the Ivory Coast.

India will honour Jyotti Singh Pandey's memory by reforming the legal system in India to be more punitive towards sexual abuse of women. The perpertrators of this attack will be tried and face the death penalty in what we believe as natural justice. We know this will never change what happened, nor help the family of the deceased, but we must show that we will not tolerate inequality towards women in our legal system.
