Christmas Jumpers - yay or nay?

Today is national Christmas Jumper day! :santa2: :woo:

So the big question: Christmas Jumpers... yay or nay? :holmes:

Do you love wearing one and getting in the Christmas sprit, or do they make you too warm and itchy?

Vote in the poll and post below with your reasons

I personally love Christmas jumpers. They lift my mood and are so cosy

I wear my Christmas jumper all year round.
**** Christmas. Why would I waste money on a piece of clothing I'll only wear in a short period each year, said period being my most hated time of year lol.

Yeahh, oversized, fluffy, I like the colours red, and white!
And sparkly, but simple, with tiny embroidery of like trees/snowmen.

@shadowdweller does too (well normally the more subtle ones). And don't even get me started on the fact that most of the socks that she wears are Christmas socks all year. To be fair her dad did get her a pack of like 20 something pairs

Oh blimey, not a good time of year for you  anything in particular that makes you dislike it? (expecting an incoming rant about it :hide: )

Very nice  I have 3. A bright red one with Rudolf on and his nose is like a pom pom (normally wear this as my proper jumper, full level Christmas!). A dark blue jumper with a sequin robin holding a candy cane (medium levels of Christmas). A light blue one with polar bears on (I feel like I can get away with this being a winter themed one)

It's massively overrated and since it's meant to be about family, and my family is a steaming pile of **** that needs to be got rid of, I don't like it

Ohh love that pom pom one haha. You can bop his nose:h:
The sequin robin sounds cute! And shiny, I love shiny things :colondollar:
And the polar bear one sounds so cuddlyy:hugs:
Nice, you have a jumper for all levels of Christmas
I'm usually a yes when it comes to christmas jumpers but I have gotten fat this year and my only christmas jumpers bearly fit me last year so didn't attempt it this year.

Fair enough  I do think it gets over the top with the commercialism of it and people spending so much they get into debt (e.g. because they feel pressured or expected to buy lots of stuff). I understand too that it's lost it's real meaning but it does bring a lot of joy and happiness to a lot of people which is really needed, especially this year

We like Xmas jumpers :yep:
I'd forgotten it was national Christmas jumper day today! I had mine on on Wednesday for making a gingerbread house and the ceremonial watching of Nativity but I might put it on again today now!
Christmas jumper or buy a copy of Big Issue from local vendor? No contest - the latter.
Don’t own a Christmas jumper but I do have a small collection of Xmas bears! Whose put their trees up yet?
