How competitive is civil engineering?

I can't help but notice the lack of people on this thread talking about civil engineering, is it a fairly unpopular and thus uncompetitive course?

My best friend applied for civil engineering, and she got all her offers within 2 weeks. They weren't the most competitive Unis, but most were BBB+

You are right that it isnt as competitive as for instance, Mech or Aero.
That doesnt of course mean that an offer is automatic.
