Hi I’m starting to receive grades for my November mocks so far I’ve got

Maths-7
Does anybody have advice on how to get English literature to a 7? And the same for English language although I haven’t received that yet. I mainly struggle with writing a high standard and long enough response in such a short space of time. Thank you

Just write loads of essays- for gcses i wrote one a week and got my teacher to then mark it and talk it through with me. I also put loads of my essays on student room and gave them to my high grade friends to grade and give advice.
(I got A* in lit and A in lang and i just finished A levels.)
Read loads of really good quality answers, highlight and write notes on the good parts of the writing style, essay organisation and contextual ideas.
I wouldnt worry about it, if you keep writing essays and improving slowly you will gradually increase and get better as you find your own style.
