Studying Dharmic Religions

Does anybody know of a degree/university were I can study/specialise in dharmic religions? The majority of the courses I have found are dominated by Abrahamic religions. Although I find Abrahamic religions interesting, I have a much stronger interest in Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism and would prefer to focus on them. Thanks is advance.

World Philosophies at SOAS? https://www.soas.ac.uk/religions-and-philosophies/programmes/ba-world-philosophies/

If you're a really top student, Religion and Oriental Studies at Oxford: https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/courses-listing/religion-and-oriental-studies. You can focus on Hinduism or Buddhism.

Edinburgh's Religious Studies degree offers a fair amount of Asian religions: http://www.drps.ed.ac.uk/20-21/dpt/utrelstudi1f.htm

Or stick with a more general course at BA level (religion or language based) and specialise as a postgrad.

Hi @ashoka10,

We have optional modules on both Buddhism and Sikhism on year two of our Philosophy, Religion and Ethics programme. You can find more details on what these modules include here.

There may also be opportunity to study these religions as part of the 'Special Study' modules. There is a lot of free choice in the dissertation as well so you can tailor the degree more towards your interests

I hope this helps but if you have any more questions just let me know! - Molly
