UCL Architecture with ABC grades

UCL is my dream uni, however, the entry requirements are AAB and my predictions are ABC

I have already sent of my UCAS application but now I want to switch one of my choices to UCL as I heard they focus more on portfolios and personal statements. Should I do this or is it too big of a risk considering my grades?

Ok that's one obstacle removed.

you can try to write a really good personal statement to show them your potential. i think if you sent the application in the last two weeks you can still contact them and make changes to it. good luck for everything, hope it goes well! (:

btw how are you finding psychology since im considering it?
I think it's unlikely, although they may be flexible for someone with an exceptional porfolio, if they invite you to submit a portfolio.

Yeah hopefully and thank you.
I'm actually really enjoying psychology. Although it's quite content heavy, it's very interesting

Looks like you can replace one of the first group with UCL and still have a good chance of multiple offers.

Remember that even though UCL might be a small chance, not applying means zero chance.

you are right about them not being all about grades and looking for talent... it's all about the creativity and your potential. I don't know for sure but their grade expectation is probably already considerably lower ( so not AAA) because they are proactively trying to be more inclusive. The real key though is having some exceptional talent or potential in your portfolio and task. You should apply if want to, you might get the grades. very conceptual though. You might actually be happier at one of the other architecture places. Lots of places do it and will be great too.
