Bus drove off with my arm in the door

This isnt really health and relationships but wasnt too sure where to post.

Basically I was waiting for my bus when another came (wasnt my bus)
I saw a lady running for the bus so I stepped on the bus to tell him to wait and the driver looked all pissed off with me and closed the door. I didnt move my arm out the way in time and it got stuck in. He could see my arm was stuck yet started to drive off with my wrist inside the bus and the rest of me outside. I panicked and kicked the door to open it. I happened to kick the glass and it all smashed. He told everyone to get off the bus and probably started to call the police. I didnt know what to do so I just walked away and i've just got home.

I still dont know what to do...

should I call the police and report it so I dont look guilty
or should I just leave it and hope nothing happens :s-smilie:

he must have really disliked you to have driven off despite seeing your arm between the door...
I would call the police. Otherwise they will inevitably ask you why you didn't and you will have no decent answer.

hmm i would call the police, it wasn't your fault

what an idiot!!

Obvious troll is obvious.

If this is real, then just leave it. I doubt he'll get the police involved, and if he does then just calmly and rationally explain the situation.

Dude...I'd complain to the company. I once complained to my bus company, for something far more trivial, and they sent me a whole load of vouchers...the bus company's manager will probably personally chaffeur you around town for the next year if you make a complaint of that magnitude.

I wouldn't bother.
Moody bus drivers = *******.

Sue him.

Would this come under self defence?

hey!

OP:- If I were you I would report it to the bus company as he was out of order and there will be cctv on the bus.

When I was little I was on a train that cancelled and had to get coaches to our destination. I was waiting for my dad to come after loading our luggage into the hold when the driver forced me onto the coach and then drove off without my dad. A few months later he got fired and I got £250 compensation

I say leave it.

Not worth the trouble.
This isn't funny.

Bus drivers can be so rude and obnoxious sometimes, that is why I prefer to walk these days/get a taxi

Anyway, I reckon you should report this incident/the dickhead of a bus driver to your town's bus company. Do you remember what he looked like? Or some of the other passengers? You could use them as a witness..
Reply 12
I would contact the police. It was clearly the drivers fault.
Reply 13
stupid bus drivers!!

he probably gave a description of you...but if anything happens tell the police the truth...i would have stayed at the scene until it was all cleared up and had the women as your witness

Complain to the Bus company and then Call the police!!

You were Assaulted!
Ring the bus company. I am sure they must have something in place to attempt to prevent drivers risking the health of users. Tbh it may not have done you any harm but could potentially have broken your arm if your arm hit anything on the outside of the doors and you were not able to move it.
i hate bus drivers some of them are such bastards, especially when theyre on a school run, i would complain
