Hi, please could someone help me develop some more ideas for this essay, and check what I have so far.
I would like to write about forest fires for the first, but I'm not quite sure of what detail to add.

Hi! I'm a native spanish speaker and an A-level student! a couple of things. Firstly, where you said ' habia muchas las problemas la circulacion', change this to ' habia muchas problemas en cuanto a la circulacion'. (more gramatically correct).
also where you sai ' a el efecto invernadero' chamge this to 'AL efecto invernadero' (because a +el=al).
Change 'debemos usar..' to'deberiamos' (because you're stating what you should do in the future instead of what you're already doing-present
tense).
Change ' en vez del coches' change to 'en vez de los coches.. PARA reducir..'
Apart from that it's really good! you can also talk about saving electricity by turning off lights (pagando las luces) or saving water when not in use (ahorrando la agua cuando no lo usas)
hope this helped

Are you sure you're a native speaker because you've made some basic errors. For example, "problema" is a masculine noun and so it should be "muchos problemas", not "muchas problemas". Second, it's "el agua", not "la agua". And "turning off" is "apagando", "pagando" means "paying".

I know a good number of native spanish who make far worse mistakes. Agua is confusing for some because it's feminine, but takes "el".

Many have problems differentiating between he, ha, e, a, when constructing verbs.... in fact the verbs "haber", "hacer" and "echar" are complete mystery to them.

and forget tildes!

Indeed, everyone makes mistakes but the genders of "problema" and "agua" (in the singular) are so basic that I wouldn't expect any true native speaker to get them wrong.

I never heard any native speaker (including myself) make those mistakes.
