Interview science question requirement

I have an interview for paramedic science at Anglia Ruskin university and they want me to submit a 600 word essay for this question:

“How aspirin works.” You should include in your answer an explanation of the effect of aspirin on enzymes involved in the pain and inflammatory pathways.

I also have to reference all my sources too. I do Applied science lvl 3 so I know how to write essays decently but I am not that familiar with aspirin and the inflammation pathway

Please help me, thank you in advance to the people who reply

I doubt people will just do the research for you regarding this question but its fairly simple to answer. I would begin by simply searching up how aspirin works and look at a website which actually publishes papers regarding certain topics.

There are two main topics you should discuss. Asprin for general use and how Asprin is used with regards to Myocardial Infarctions (Heart attacks).

Simply look up "how Asprin works" to get a general idea and write down the main bullet points and then start diving deeper into the topics by looking at research papers dedicated to figuring out the pathways Asprin impacts.

General use pathways and how Asprin can help inflammation and then build upon this further by bringing up how these pathways help heart attacks. I'm sure this uses generally the same pathways however the environment it works on is more niche.

lots on a + covid so you might want to run a search using "-covid"

Searching the internet is always a good start for gathering information although, of course, you need to verify it's accuracy; after all some people still believe that the orange one won the election!
