What is your squat to leg press ratio?

Sod the ratio, tell me how much you do and your bodyweight.

I'm only squatting 70kg at the moment for 3x5.
I only started leg pressing the other day, and I comfortably pressed 150kg (plus whatever an empty leg press machine weighs) for 3x8.

Is it normal for there to be this much of a difference?
My squats are ATG, and I always use the maximum ROM on the leg press

If it helps, I deadlift 110kg

110kg x5 ATG, last time I leg pressed 200+ for reps.

Not really sure but i used to do 110kg x 3 on the leg press but i'm not confident with squatting yet so i'm only doing 40 ish kg
I'm currently on 95kg 5x5 squat, but I have no idea what I'd manage for a 5x5 leg press because our gym only has 160kg on the leg press machine, which I can do for comfortably more than that directly after squatting.
Leg press is for homos
I squat 90 currently for 3x8 and leg press 200 for 3x5, and a few people I know have similar differences; tis perfectly normal to have such differences

I squat about 130 X 5 but Leg Press 380 X 8 comfortably, whereas the squat is a struggle.

Leg Press just doesn't feel worth it compared to the squat.
The ratio seems pretty normal to be honest.

PB unequipped squat for 5 reps is 290 (just belt)
Leg Press is 600kgs x 3sets of 5

Leg press is stable, on an angle, not crushing directy on your spine and lungs so it stands to reason you can lift more on it

I only started getting stretch marks on my arse after leg pressing.. odd?

110kg squats and can do about over 6 reps, havent tried 120 yet. Only started doing squats tuther week!

Don't know what leg press is...
How far down does everyone go down when they squat?

We we can tell.

Do some reading on squat form. Let us know how much you lift once you've done it right. :p:

I am hesitant to believe that you can squat 110kg x6 a couple of weeks after starting squats.

You can if it's half squats or some bs like that. He thought tom plats was going 'too low'

Believe what you want.

There not half squats btw, I've had ppl watch me to see if my technique is bad cuz I couldn't believe it myself, it's not as far as that Plats bloke though.

I'm just naturally stacked.

yeah. ive seen people with fairly heavy weights (160kg) on the bar doing bouncy little quarter squats. If you're not pushing out of the hole it's a completely different movement and doesn't require anything like the same effort as squatting to parallel.
