Feet swelling (oedema)

My parents pointed out that both my feet have swelled up where there's water retention present, but obviously I'm trying to sort out a doctor's appointment to confirm this is really the case. I'm 22, so although lockdown has given me a sedentary lifestyle, I'm still very, very concerned as it doesn't seem to be a normal thing.

Anyone had experience with this or just general advice on the matter?

Sounds like speaking to your GP is the best thing to do. It could just be that you are less active, like you say (I've had it after long-haul flights) but it's worth getting it checked out in case there is something else going on. Keeping you legs up can help with swelling.
