    Hi!

I'm very confuse right now. I did the IB, unfortunately I got a 5 in one HL subject, which is not very good if I like to apply for law at for example Oxford, KCL and UCL. However I will get around 40 points (haven't done an exam yet as I was rushed to hospital), and thus meet the total point requirement of most universities. Should I retake or not?

No. 40 is more than adequate for law at those universities (I didn't do IB but I think the average offer for Oxford is 37-39 points.) If you want some extra reassurance, ask an admissions tutor.

I've signed up for B&M exam in May actually, but perhaps I will just skip that exam then as my IB coordinator also suggested. The problem is that I have seen virtually no offers for law or politics (thinking 'bout that too) which doesn't include a specific demand of 6/7s in all HL subjects.

    Thanks for your help!
