Title:
Lessons through reflection, a nurses perspective on working in COVID-19

Date: Thursday 28 January 2021
Time: 18:30 to 20:00

Please note that this is an online event using Zoom, places must be booked here...
https://www.bradford.ac.uk/events/public/cafe-scientifique-lessons-through-reflection-a-nurses-perspective-on-working-in-covid19.php

About this event
How does a hospital A&E department adapt to a pandemic? Danni Woods Adult Nurse Lecturer at the University of Bradford and Sister Lucy Lowe will examine how the events leading up to the national lockdown were translated into routine nursing practice in an inner-city hospital.

The preliminary data collected from nurses working in A&E provides insight into their thoughts and feelings of working in a front line service. This data will also inform further service evaluation looking at the coping strategies nurses have used to maintain their health and wellbeing during the pandemic.

i don't wanna ruin it but basically there's a group of kids that go on a trip and one of their classmates who died in terrible car crash is on the train with them in a coffin in the baggage compartment and basically tortures them for all the bad stuff that they did to him
its a really good book one of my faves so far

This has been on my bucket list for a while, it’s about learning & stuff, I could, maybe, learn a thing or two.

I’ve barely started it :s

Yeah that’s my main new year goal, I want to set a realistic target of reading 20 books, at least. Can be both fictional or non, I don’t mind.

no, I haven't... I've tried to cut down on watching horrors because I got addicted to them very badly lol so I read point horror books instead
Have you seen the binding, i found that scary as hell... but it was sooo good
