Girlfriend overboard?

I absolutely adore my girlfriend, she struggles with self-confidence so I had an idea to send her a little note every month on the day we became girlfriend and girlfriend to let her know just how amazing she is (she's actually one of the best people you could ever wish to meet). Is this me going overboard? Am I being clingy or something? Or can I do it and not be worried she'll feel creeped out?

I think it's really sweet. If you were doing it every day, it might seem a bit clingy/ott but once a month is fine.
