Have I messed up Anki algorithm?

As a result of not doing my cards on Anki for a few days, there are now quite a few overdue. So I went through all the cards to review each day, using the Anki heatmap, and rescheduled the cards, so that the load was evenly balanced. Only after doing this I have realised, have I messed up the algorithm in Anki that is responsible for showing me the cards just before I am about to forget them? If so, will it be fixed over a few weeks of me doing the cards?
