Why has my student loan not been paid!!!!?

My student finance online thing says that everythings approved ive had all documentation but it said id get paid on the 22nd which was monday. I enrolled on Monday so its definately been 3 working days and my payment schedule hasnt changed its still saying the 22nd , so I havent a clue where my money is , starting to panic.

The "three working days" thing is an estimation, based on the length of time it normally takes. It can, therefore, take longer. Don't panic; if I were you (unless I desperately needed the money immediately) I would try to hang on until the beginning of next week. If you feel you can't do that, maybe phone the SLC today to reassure yourself that your money is on its way.

I was told that I don't get mine until next week. I enrolled yesterday, but the university aren't going to finalise everything and confirm that I'm here to the SLC until the weekend. That's what they told me.

In the mean time, I have £20 to last me. Let the good times commence :yep:

I don't have mine yet either, which is a pain because I have books to buy for a lecture on Monday :mad:

I ws told it would probably take between 3 and 6 days for it to clear, so hopefully it'll be there later today or tomorrow.

i would say generally give it a week - the amount of student loans going through at the same time, can make it difficult to get everyone paid when they say they will.
3 days is an estimate.
If you havent been paid a week after registration, ring up SLC or your student financial services and ask what is going on.

I phoned slc and theyve said as its not there today it should be in there monday at the latest. Hopefully.

I enrolled weeks ago, haven't been paid. I rang up SLC and they were very unhelpful.

Me on the other hand. Applied ontime, never had a late payment and only had one problem where my delcaration form I had to sign didn't come with the letter even though it said it would. Rang them, asked them to send me another, 2 days later there it was. Sent it back. All done.

2 years down, 2 to go.

That must be some sort of record for them. My letters always take at least a week from them. My correspondence online says they sent me a IC Non Graduate Statement on 17th Sept which I'm guessing is the statement of how much debt I have, there's no option to view it online though. Still not got it and its been over a week.

Same here. Student Finance Direct is a joke to be honest. I had to get them to send me an application form because their website wouldn't let me apply online (it let me fill in the whole form then failed on the very last "Submit Application" button). After getting through their quite frankly ridiculous security question stuff, I was told a paper form would take a month to arrive!

I've not had my loan through either. Everything is approved and I enrolled on Monday and my dates not been changed from the 22nd September. Another guy on my course had his through on Tuesday.
If its not through on Monday I'm ringing them up I think. I cant pay for my Halls if its not through and I have no overdraft either, and if I Cant pay for halls they'll charge me another 90 quid late payment fine, which will then drive me so far into the red I'll end up black marked! So yeah, they need to get their behinds into gear.

Same as me, i enrolled last friday (19th) and my payment status still says 22nd september, however my brother who enrolled on wednesday his changed on thursday! Same university by the way, so i asked them and they said my attendance had been confirmed but they will resubmit it for me! As of today still no change, im starting to get worried now and ive spoken to both Student finance and my university.

I enrolled last monday, I received my first payments today. Have a check on your online student finance whatsit (I assume you have one) and look at the payment schedule on that.
