do you think, hiring more deaf nurses could help with communication barriers between hard hearing/deaf patients and non deaf nurses?

yes i think its a great idea. as communication is key.

My experience of being a patient staying in hospital is that nurses say one sentence to you about twice a day. Communication could easily be achieved by writing that down in most cases.
