Every year during the second week in January, David Domoney, a Chartered Horticulturist and English celebrity gardener, best known for co-presenting Love Your Garden alongside Alan Titchmarsh and for being the resident gardener on ITV1's This Morning, wants to celebrate houseplants. So he's created #HouseplantWeekUK to celebrate the best of indoor gardening and help you choose the right plant for your home.
Houseplants can be beneficial to air quality and general well-being!

And here are some hard to kill plants!

Here are some of my plants(no idea what the second one is called, I think the first is a jelly bean plant? I used an image recognition system(I used Google lens) to recognise this or you could just actually remember the plant you're buying

Hi! The first one looks to be some kind of crassula- perhaps a crassula ovata hobbit? The second one is an aloe vera i think
I could be completely wrong though because I don't know as much about succulents!

I have never had a house plant survive, it is pretty shameful for some who's highest qualification is basically growing stuff

I have 3 cats and one in particular is an a**hole so it's a real struggle ><. Even as I'm shouting at her and clambering out of bed to get her off a plant that she's eating she'll just stare me dead in the eyes and keep going. Still love her to bits tho~

Oh, how much I love them!
For those who like plants but too afraid to ruin it - from my exp, the easiest plants to grow (and not kill) are the "Christmas Cactus". Another is the Philodendron, a creeping vine that will take over your home if you let it.

i couldn't tell you which ones i have because i own a lot lol. i went crazy during summer buying more plants bc i had nothing else to do so my house is like a jungle now haha. my fave ones are probably my mexican fortune tree, devil's ivy and asparagus fern
i bought some more difficult species during summer but i regretted it once i became too busy with uni to properly care for them. are you planning on expanding ur collection or are u happy with what u have now?
