Foam party?

Right so during my freshers week, there is going to be a foam party.

I've never been to one but I know you get wet.

Apart from that, does it mess up your clothes like stain, mark them?

What kind of things do you wear to one?

Don't wear a shirt that people have marked (with permanent marker) the pen runs.

Don't straighten your hair it ends up a COMPLETE mess.

I have experienced both. Other than that I love foam parties and have never had any other problems other than wiping foam out of my eyes with foam :smile:

NEVER wear a leather waist belt with a cream shirt. You WILL get brown stains round your middle (embarassing :O) and your shirt WILL go see through.

I've been dragged to one and my clothes were fine; it was fun trying to get home though as I was SOAKED. The cab driver wasn't very happy. :eek:

it made my eyes and nipples sore for aaaaaaaaaages though. Though, that was probably because it was Walkabout, ergh.

Luckily when I went to one I wasn't dressed up. We'd gone for a pint and decided to go to the student night at a club for a drink. My make up did end up all over my face but everyone looked stupid so it wasn't too bad.

My boyfriend and his mates just took their tops off. Got a bit worried when they started rubbing foam in to each other's chests.

Don't do your hair nice, it will get damaged.

I'd go with clothes you don't really care about. They might not get damaged, but I wouldn't risk it. Plus, most of the time you're kind under cover (the foam goes up to your neck) so nice clothes don't "really" matter.

Don't wear heels, you'll slip and step on people.

Make up will run.

I'm sooo glad someone else has mentioned nipples! Mine are red raw after my foam party last night, so sore!!

If you wear a white top then put a bikini top underneath (it will go see through), I wore a white strap top, blue bikini, a beach skirt and flip flops and it was fine (don't wear mascara though it goes everywhere)

To be Honest, yeah it wrecks your hair but your clothes it doesnt, your shoes get stain on them but can be washed out by water and your laces you just wash em but watch out because the glow and uv stuff stains on your clothes if youve been in the foam. But foam parties are realy refreshing and its nice dancing with girls in it :wink:
