occult/mythology degree??

where can I do a degree that would allow me to study the occult across different countries? i am really interested in ghost stories and pagan beliefs. something to do with mythology and folk tales would be brilliant, but i currently dont have a religion so I dont think religious studies would be right for me.

I wanted to be anonymous so I put this in the mental health section. sorry.

Let's talk about this

How is this relevant to MH?
Do you believe your interest in the occult stems from MH issues?

Being an agnostic doesn't exclude you from studying religious studies. Have you ever looked into a classics degree?

Maybe try a university that does medieval history??

Getting a job with that degree will be difficult. You are paying £30,000 for a degree that essentially is unemployable

As far as I know there is a separate degree for mythology, and I believe there are a few scattered ones for the occult. More online courses than in person. Are you looking for occult as in Western Esotericism or more international mythology?

Ancient history, classics, etc. I know UCL have degrees on Scandinavian Studies and Old Norse and Viking Studies which have modules on the history of both?

Anthropology is the closest degree I can think of, but mythology would only be a minority of such a degree.

This subject is very niche and not the best idea to pursue as a full degree. The best option might be distance learning or Open University modules like this: https://fass.open.ac.uk/classical-studies/modules/a330

Then you can study a more mainstream subject for your actual degree on top.
