Congrats on the ones who got offers. This may sound like a stupid question here. I am a parent from US. My kid got an offer for Global Health and Social Medicine BSc. What's the different between the BA and BSc. And when I read through the thread, someone got an offer for the program + study abroad. Do you have to make a choice for the extension study abroad when you sent application?

Hi, so the BSc is more scienced based whereas the BA looks more into the humanities. With the year abroad it has a different code that you apply with through UCAS, however I think you can change/ apply for it later on during your time at kings

Hey, BSc stands for Bachelors of Science and BA stands for Bachelors of Arts. BSc degrees require a more mathematical and analytical approach whereas, BA degrees are qualitative and creative lead. Hope this helped

Hello! From what I understand, people who opt for the bachelor of science specialise in an area of biomedicine - the site lists neuroscience and ageing as some of the available pathways. You apply directly to the study abroad degree programme, but it is mentioned that it is subject to your performance. Since it sounds sort of flexible, it might be possible to apply for study abroad/opt out of study abroad while you’re on the programme. I’m not sure though!
Sorry I may be a bit late in replying this but, the curriculum of the two courses are very similar I believe, but the BSc will be more science-oriented with more scientific modules?? Also, the BSc degree should be more widely-recognised when it comes to job applications.
