Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

not sure if this is right thingto do

i'm planning on booking a holiday without telling my parents because im 17 but I'll be 18 when a month before i go so i plan on telling them then. If i ask them now i know they will say no, but i really dont know if this is the right thing to do? Advice

* i know i cant book a holiday being 17 so my friend is securing it and I'll give her the monthly payments. Also, if i tell my parents then they'll know i have social media (not allowed) it. I'm thinking of just waiting till i turn 18 to book it but prices will probably go up by then.

If you put yourself in there shoes then essentially you’d learn that it’s not nice being lied too by your own kid.

If you don’t tell them till last second then they’ll be angry with you. They will eventually get over it and laugh at it one day.

And of course you may have your reasons for lying about it which is fair. But how are you going on holiday when most places are locked down?
