Is economics a good degree to do?
I am currently in year 11 but I want to start exploring career options. The A-Levels I'm probably going to do are Maths, Further Maths, Geography and Chemistry but I am also thinking about Economics. The school I went to never really helped us with career options - they only ever encouraged apprenticeships. Is economics a respected degree and is it worth doing?

Thank you x

Economics is definitely a respected degree and has good graduate prospects from what I have heard.

And not just plain 'Economics', there are a wide range of degree subjects in this area.
Here are just a few examples...

Economics and International Relations - https://www.sussex.ac.uk/study/under...l-relations-ba
Financial Economics and Banking - https://le.ac.uk/courses/financial-e...d-banking-bsc/
Economics with a Year Abroad - https://www.uea.ac.uk/course/undergr...ar-abroad/2021
Business and Marketing - https://www.reading.ac.uk/ready-to-s...marketing.aspx

What can you do with an Economics degree - https://www.prospects.ac.uk/careers-...gree/economics
