Software Engineering at Brighton vs. Computer Science at Sussex

Hey there. In September I'm going to be going onto an undergraduate degree, hopefully in the south of England.

I'm still conflicted about whether I should do computer science at Sussex or software engineering at Brighton.

As I understand, computer science is more theoretical whereas software engineering is more practical-based. I am personally mostly interested in software development and programming, and I feel like a course better focused on the practical programming side would be better suited for me personally. However, on the other hand, I am aware that Sussex University is considered much more prestigious than Brighton University.

I've had a look at the modules, and they seem to have some cross-over. I'm just wondering how much focus the Sussex Uni course has on programming, and which one is the better choice for me.
