Depends on the course. Entry to Irish universities is generally entirely based on your school leaving results (a levels or leaving cert etc). They will have a fixed number of places on each course and will fill them with the people who have achieved the highest points. You can find the points for entry to courses in previous years on the CAO website along with conversion of your a level points. With A*AB you’d have 472 points. If any of those are Maths you’d get an extra 25 points, and if you have an additional AS you could get more points for that too. Maximum points is 625.

Last year’s points... look at the course code column and scroll down to courses starting with TR.

Just checking that you’re not in Northern Ireland? TCD have an access route for NI students to access courses on lower points (with a minimum of ABB), but doesn’t apply for students from the rest of the UK.

Might be worth having a look at this then. https://www.tcd.ie/study/international/

The CAO application route is only aimed at EU and UK applicants. International applications are directly through Trinity. I’m afraid I don’t know if there are different criteria for entry but you could try contacting them for further information.
