A-level subject confusion

I want to do medicine in Cambridge or Imperial college after sixth form. Currently I have submitted German, Chemistry and Biology as my A level choices and, hopefully if I have the grades, I can take maths as a fourth. Lots of people tell me it’s not worth doing a fourth subject as it wastes time however I really enjoy MFL and I know that some colleges in Cambridge require 3 science/maths subjects for medicine so it’s better for me to take maths or physics. What’s the best thing to do?
I would prioritise the subjects that you want to do as you will get better grades if you're studying your favourite subjects. Imperial only ask for Biology and Chemistry and the third subject can be anything. There are only 4 colleges at cambridge that require maths or physics so you'll still be fine applying for both places with those a levels. The main thing to do is do well in BMAT. You might want to strengthen your application by just doing AS maths if you can.
