Hi, I’m stuck on a question. It says to write an ionic equation for the reaction of sodium with the hydrogen ions in the acid. I would really appreciate it if someone would help, thank you

HI,
It's 2H+ (aq) + 2Na(s) --> H2(g) + 2Na+ (aq)
So it's a redox reaction. H+ gains electrons, Na loses them.
