Friends, I am looking for input/advice:I have completed a bachelor in medicine in europe, want to move back home (UK) because of Brexit and ideally want to transfer onto a medical program, either graduate or undergraduate. I have compelted all the non-clinical components of the course in my Bachelor. Anyone has any experience with transfers from Europe or has any tips on how to approach medical schools on this? Any help will be much apprecaited

Are you currently studying Medicine in Europe now?

There is virtually no chance you can transfer directly into a medical school in the UK - they are competitive enough as it is.

Indeed, even UK-UK medical school transfers are incredibly rare outside of existing transfer schemes (e.g. Oxbridge -> London).

If you are out of education - you may be able to compete (very tough competition) for graduate entry medicine for UK med schools. As an international student this will be even harder.

So you have completed the equivalent of pre-clinical medicine in Europe?

Can you complete your clinical placements and gain your medical degree? That's going to be the most realistic option tbh.
