Does the University of Aberdeen have many black tie events?

I've applied to the University of Aberdeen and I was wondering if there are any black tie events like summer balls etc

It would depend on what subject you choose, I can only think of two but they are for law students. There is a matriculation event where you meet staff, former students, legal professionals and fellow students and the law society annual law ball. Outside of that I could not say, perhaps other subject areas have similar events.
Lots depending on what societies you do, the shooting, polo, OTC are your best bets. I’m sure there are others but you’d have to look online
