Science GNVQ acceptance
Hi all. I am currently studying an access course for midwifery . I have been interviewed for 3 places and accepted by 2,still awaiting 1. I have a pass in a science intermediate gnvq which is equivalent to 2 x science GSCE's at a C level. Uni req 1 science GCSE at a C or above. All 3 x unis have interviewed me, 2 have offered me a place, 1 still waiting to hear back from . However 1 had said accept if I do an additional science test as alternative gnvq? Has anyone experienced this. Its 495 pound to do course and test alongside my current study. And 2 unis are fine with it. Just my 1st choice isn't .
And strangelly my 3rd choice demands higher grades and they are fine with it. Has anyone experienced this? Can it be debated or do I just have to accept
