A01 is outline, simply state stuff you know to be true relating to theories or experiments etc.
A02 is when you refer to the question's situation - you apply your knowledge to what you're given in the exam.
A03 is evaluation. So strengths and weaknesses. (this can be in 'discuss' questions as well as A01)
