In a nutshell:
Looking at getting a van for a MTB/day van project. However I have read on several sites that if you were to go from a van back to a car (which I would in the future) then the NCD you gained while in the van doesn't count towards a car policy? How true is this?
Also before I forget, i'll own the van, use it for everything so it'll be my personal vehicle and not a company one driven by some ape.

It depends on the policy you get. I doubt a commercial use policy on a van would carry over, but a personal use policy from a van specialist most likely would.
