What are my chances for St. Andrews university?
Watch
In hindsight, what are the actual chances of me attaining a place at arguably one of the most prestigious universities in the world? For either neuroscience or psychology by the way.
With these GCSEs:
65555444 (5 in maths, 5 in English literature and 4 in English language).
And I’m taking these a levels:
Biology, geography and sociology.
Predictions atm for them are three BBBs but I’m going for at least ABB/AAB.

Since your predicted are slightly under the minimum entry grades it might be a bit slim, but with a strong PS you can still gain entry. Plus I think after last years mess, predicted grades don’t play as big of a factor as they did last year

Actually you should check the recent rankings, pretty sure they’re top 3 in the uk, so must be up there. Also, with notable alumni like prince William and Kate Middleton I’m pretty sure they’re fairly prestigious to say the least.

I don’t think they’re top three. Top three would be Oxford, Cambridge and UCL according to the QS rankings. And after those three it would be imperial & LSE. But yes they do have notable alumni

Well, everyone knows top 3 is Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial, UCL would be 5th due to the non-science course quality.

They are currently second in the UK I think but I would agree that it doesn’t translate to the world- still very good tho!
