Really do not see how people have been able to enter a relationship during lockdown or really at all this past year during times of COVID-19?
Am I missing something?
Don't think "online" really cuts it to be an official couple? Sure it can help gauge how somebody is you are interested in but without in person contact?

Getting involved with other members of their household/support bubble, establishing long distance relationships or flouting pandemic restrictions.

You’ve got a point tbh, I understand how they are meeting online but then going out and putting everyone at risk is just a bit erm what are you doing?

My wife and I were ‘online’ for 3 years, been together for 6 years and now live together 👍

I mean my brother got a girl pregnant during the last lockdown....
Don't be like my brother- at least wear a condom OR even better stay at home and save lives (don't make them).

I'm sure people have become more lonely and desperate during lockdown anyway and are open to 'alternative' relationships where they don't see each other in person (for those who are sticking to rules)
