Could be linked to the fetishisation of lesbianism, like how some guys thinking two girls getting together is ‘hot’. Also may be linked to the idea that bisexuals are straights who pretend to like girls for male attention.
But it also could not be that deep. Idk your bf so I don’t want to be making assumptions about him. But maybe ask him why he views it as hot especially if it made you uncomfortable.

They think of threesomes (2 girls + them) which for some reason is a big fantasy for lots of men (don't really see the appeal personally, I don't think I could focus on two girls at the same time but it gives men bragging rights).
Also, they might watch lesbian porn and enjoy girl on girl um... action (so they imagine you with another girl).
